Springtime typically conjures up feelings of renewal, rebirth and an all new look coming out of the dead of winter. This year, at Fashion Focus Program in Pembroke, fall has all of those things and more. While many spent their summer days lazing about on the beach, the staff at Fashion Focus was toiling away behind the scenes. Although we may have missed out on some valuable Vitamin D, with results like these, we’re convinced it was worth it!
All New Website
First of all, we’re sure by now you’ve noticed the brand new look of our website! Thanks to a few of our extra hardworking students, we were able to pull off an overhaul to the site beginning with a photo shoot by the talented photographer, Skot Lindstedt. The new site not only has updated photos but better design for an improved user experience. We would love to hear your feedback on this! All New Curriculum
For anyone that has ever been to Fashion Focus before, you ain’t seen nothin’! This summer the staff at Fashion Focus re-imagined and reorganized more than 60 modules for our Fall and Spring 14-week programs. We updated class ideas, media and information to provide a new and improved experience for our veterans as well as our new girls. Some of our new classes include: Body Appreciation & Unrealistic Media Standards of Beauty, Stress Management (for Advanced Teens), Expressing Your Personal Style (fashionably), Online Safety, and so many more!
All New Technology
Some of you may have had a glimpse during Spring Program 2016 but Fashion Focus has gone tech savvy (and green!) with a brand new monitor featuring Apple TV. No more worksheets – classes are now run with an iPod projecting on to a 50″ monitor. This enables us not only to help the environment by saving paper but we’re also able to include rich media like video and audio in our lessons. We’ve realized it’s a much more appealing way to keep the girls fully engaged throughout the lessons.
